Mount Kilimanjaro Lemosho Route Overview

Route & Terrain
The Lemosho Route begins on the western slopes of Kilimanjaro and traverses a variety of landscapes, including lush rainforests, moorlands, alpine deserts, and glacier-covered summit zones. Trekkers enjoy breathtaking views of the Shira Plateau, Lava Tower, Barranco Wall, and the majestic peaks of Kibo and Mawenzi.
Duration & Trekking Experience
This 10-day itinerary includes 8 days on the mountain, allowing gradual acclimatization and increasing your chances of reaching the summit. Daily trekking ranges from 3 to 8 hours, with the summit day requiring 8–12 hours of hiking.
Accommodation & Facilities
Accommodation includes comfortable hotel stays in Arusha before and after the climb, as well as mountain camping during the trek. Spacious tents, sleeping mattresses, and freshly prepared meals are provided by our experienced mountain crew.
